Eco-consciousness is baked into the DNA of Sitka® Hash House. We strive to raise our game around whatever we can do to limit waste. Who wants oceans and temperatures to rise? No one. Because any thoughtful discussion of land preservation has to involve Native Americans and First Nations, Sitka is engaged in that conversation and advocates for indigenous rights. Sitka is setting aside a share of profits to benefit tribes in Washington and California, and wherever Sitka may work in the future.  Sitka makes a monthly contribution to the Duwamish Tribal Services (https://www.duwamishtribe.org) to boost the revival of Duwamish culture and the vitality of the Duwamish Tribe within the Seattle area and is seeking ways to support the tribes of Sonoma County, to bring increased wellness and financial resources in a manner sensitive to the needs of the local people.
